Chapter 1:
A Cabin of Nekos
Felix wasn’t sure about being stuck in a log cabin for the whole summer, even with the cabin having all the modern conveniences and even when his closest friends will be there with him. Maybe this was the reason for his strange feeling. Maybe this was why he had troubles falling asleep that night.
But just as he was falling asleep, the alarm clock on the nightstand beeped. He sat up, startled. What the hell? He grabbed the alarm clock of the nightstand and almost pulled off the cord! He examined it in the dark and fiddled with it. How do you turn this damn thing off? This was a different brand and different design from his alarm clock. Who even sets their alarm for twelve midnight? Eventually, Felix managed to turn the stupid alarm off and set it back down on the nightstand. He sighed. Now, maybe I can get some… wait. What is that?
There was a desk in the corner on the other side of the room. Felix saw a bluish green glowing orb on that desk dart behind a reading lamp. It was a small orb, kind of like the glowing orbs in cartoons and video games to represent fairies or something. Well, I won’t be getting to sleep any time soon anyway. Felix turns on the light without looking away from the desk and then walks over to it. He sees no sign of movement and his eyes stared at the lamp the entire walk over to the other side of the room. This is stupid. Nothing’s there. It’s just my imagination.
He lifts the lamp and sets it aside, but he does not see nothing; he sees a tiny person! He sees a fairy! His lower jaw drops and his eyes widen. The male fairy backs up quickly, too quickly, because he falls backwards on his butt. The fairy was only three inches tall with pale skin. He wore clothing that looked more like undergarments made out of extremely tiny leaves. Such tiny leaves shouldn’t even be possible. The leaves formed some leafy primitive version of underwear. He had dragon fly wings that had a slight bluish green glow to them. His eyes had that same bluish green color and his hair was the same. He was quite handsome with a thin, but lean body. Because of his three inch height, there was a cuteness to him as well.
The fairy staring up at Felix looked absolutely frightened while Felix looked down at him stunned. The fairy was the size of a neera, but Felix knew a neera when he saw one and this was no neera. A real fairy, but they’re only supposed to be in stories. Fairies aren’t supposed to exist.
1.The fairy just sits there staring up at Felix with absolute fear.
a. Felix still stares at him, stunned.
b. Curiosity gets the best of Felix and he slowly reaches out to touch the fairy to see if he’s real, but the fairy ends up shrinking him!
c. Felix grins down at the fairy. Felix doesn’t see neera as equals. He wants to play with this fairy before eating him.
d. Felix reaches out to “play” with the fairy, but the fairy shrinks the neko!
e. Felix raises his hands and tries to explain to the fairy that he means him no harm. He considers neera as equals (even though many nekos don’t see it that way) and if he wouldn’t hurt a neera, he wouldn’t hurt a fairy.
f. Felix grins and says, “I think I can have lots of fun with you.” Felix sees tiny beings as playthings more than people. He wouldn’t eat them though, there’s just too much “fun” that could be had.

2. The fairy looks at the slightly open window and tries to fly away.
a. Felix manages to step in front of the fairy to block his path.
b. Felix blocks the fairy and grins. “You’re not going anywhere, little guy.”
c. Felix blocks the fairy. “You’re not going anywhere, little snack.”
d. Felix begs the fairy not to leave.
e. Felix cups his hands around the fairy and catches him.
f. Felix cups his hands around the flying fairy. “Time to have some fun, little fairy.
g. Felix catches the fairy, but the fairy uses his size-changing magic to shrink Felix!
h. Felix catches the fairy and plans on having “fun” with the fairy, but the fairy shrinks Felix!

3. The fairy uses his magic.
a. The fairy brightens the entire room to blind Felix temporarily to try and escape.
b. The fairy panics and uses his shrinking powers on Felix.
